Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.40 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 129-130. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Bare-headed bust of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. IVSTITIA AVG P P / COS III Justitia seated to left on throne, holding patera in her right hand and long scepter in her left. BMC 552 var. (with aegis). Cohen 893 var. (without drapery). RIC 1027. A beautifully toned example with a fine portrait. Somewhat rough, otherwise, about extremely fine.
